Stairglow® Photoluminescent Stair Nosing

StairGlow™ photoluminescent stair nosing comes in both polyurethane high traffic and polypropylene low traffic versions. Complies with the requirement of a 1” luminous strip on the stair, and also provides anti-slip protection. Meets the non-slip standards of the ADA. The photoluminescent strip and non-skid tread is molded right into the design-- this eliminates the possibility of lifting, delamination or separation that can occur with competitors' similar products or with luminescent or anti-slip tape. And unlike other emergency exit lights and stair lighting, no batteries are required-- the photoluminescent strip glows for several hours after being exposed to ambient light. This provides the durable, permanent, maintenance-free core of the emergency exit system along with the StairGlow™ handrail covers.

Can be molded in any desired color. Ideally suited for high traffic/high wear areas. Has a 1 inch photoluminescent glow strip insert molded into the stairnosing, eliminating the chance of lifting, delamination, or separation. Glow strip will stay illuminated for hours from any ambient light source. Glow strip illumination characteristics meet all building codes. Also features an aggressive anti-slip surface molded as part of the stairnosing, eliminating the chance of lifting, delamination, or separation which is possible with the traditional designs.
